What a great day we had on August 6, as we celebrated the 10th anniversary of Redemption House! Food, music, ice cream, sunshine! Mayor Henry came out and read a wonderful proclamation honoring the work of Redemption House.

We would like to give a shout out to the folks who helped make the day a success.

Thank you to the singers who volunteered to perform at our big celebration–Craig Young, Brent Cooper, Jake Husted, Aaron Yoder, and The Temple Praise Team! Their music contributed mightily to the overall atmosphere. A special thank-you to Craig Young for not only singing at our event, but also providing all of the AV equipment so we could enjoy live worship music throughout the celebration.

No birthday party would be complete without cake and ice cream, and for this,we had some amazing partners! Thank you Bear and Beak Bakery for supplying cake and cupcakes for our party! And thanks also to Prairie Farms for donating ice cream treats!

The Lutheran Foundation gifted Redemption House with the perfect location for our Reunion/10 year celebration! The big party was held at the beautiful Lutheran Park on Fairfield Ave. The park has a gorgeous rolling lawn with a prayer garden and even a splash pad! Thank you Lutheran Foundation for providing this space for us, and also sponsoring the tents for our event! What a blessing!

A huge thank-you to Old National Bank, Sweetwater Sound, and Polar King for sponsoring this year’s Alumni Reunion and 10 Year Celebration! These sponsors helped make it possible for our event to be COMPLETELY FREE for the community.

And let’s not forget State Bank, which provided their food truck for our event! We were blessed to have them as a sponsor for our celebration this year.
